Order from Lord Cornbury to all Rectors, Vicars, Chaplains, and ministers, and especially to the Church wardens of the Parish of Rye, Mamaroneck, and Bedford, commanding that the Rev. George Mcirson should be duly inducted as Rector of said Parish. Dated July 31, 1705. Also a certificate in Latin, stating that in obedience to said order the Rev. George Muirson was duly inducted as Rector of said Parish by Rev. William Vesey, Caleb Heathcote, and Joseph Theal, August 20, 1705. Page 264.--Edward, Viscount Cornbury, CaptainGeneral, etc. Whereas Peter Brested, of New York, lately died intestate, Letters of administration are granted to his eldest son, Peter Brested, August 23, 1705. John Kiersam.--In the name of God, Amen. This 4th day of August, 1705. J, John Kiersam, of the town of Flatlands, in Kings County, being sick and weak in body. I give to my brothel's and sisters in Holland the full sum of 60. To my wife's sister Martie, living in Holland, 60. To my brother Koert Stevensen, 60.
