The love that she needed from her father was not exemplifed but instead she was rejected, wounded and scarred. She even suffered with a broken pelvic bone as a child, by her father. This caused her later in life to have issues with her identity, being suicidal and to struggle with severe depression, and to be in a abusive relationship, which almost caused her not be alive today. She was put out on her own at the age of 11 with a small box of clothing hurt, sad, and confused, saying to herself, why me? She sought refuge the best way that she could, living on the streets going from place to place. This is the reason why she reaches out to those who are hurting and suffering from the issues of abuse and domestic violence. She says that abuse is not love and that love does not hurt.
