This user friend, but challenging, work from the late Dr. Bella Itkin should be a must read for the aspiring actor. Dr. Itkin provides a road map for the actor in regards to preparing her/himself to develop an honest portrayal of a character. It is reminder to "Don't talk, just do," as Dr. Itkin often reminded her students.
In a world awash with mediocre acting books, Dr. Itkin's and Richard Aven's work stands out as an emerging classic that will survive for years.
