I work in a school where English is an additional language for over half of our students. There is no way I could achieve the same level of excellence in my practice without this book. The strategies are strongly grounded in evidence based, peer reviewed research and are easy to apply to any classroom context. Using Coelho's work, I have often had letters of appreciation from the parents of my ELL students. It will not only give you fast and easy to apply strategies, but provides teachers with an entire framework for thinking about adding English. An ESSENTIAL for any teacher with ELL students.
