About the author

Bevin Goldsmith is a multifaceted author and dedicated public servant with a distinguished background in military service. Her journey began in 2006 when she enlisted in the United States Air National Guard as an F-16 Crew Chief, where she honed her technical skills in aircraft maintenance and developed a strong sense of teamwork. In 2008, driven by a deep sense of duty and a desire to make a broader impact, Bevin transitioned to the United States Army. She served as a Military Police Officer for four and a half years, where she further solidified her commitment to protecting and serving others.In 2011, Bevin deployed as part of Operation New Dawn, a pivotal moment in her career. During her deployment, she served as a team leader and took on critical roles in the Female Engagement Team (FET), counter-IED operations, and other mission-essential tasks. Her experiences in combat zones not only deepened her understanding of leadership but also gave her a unique perspective on the challenges faced by military personnel, particularly female service members. These formative experiences shaped her approach to resilience, discipline, and camaraderie-values that continue to influence her work today.Transitioning from military life, Bevin channeled her passion for storytelling into becoming a published author.
