About the author (1997)

John Long is an acclaimed American rock climber and author of more than forty titles, including The Trad Climber's Bible (FalconGuides). He lives in Venice, California.

Craig Luebben (Golden, Colorado) has been climbing for more than twenty years and has written books and numerous articles on the subject. His "Advanced Rock Climbing," so-authored with John Long, won the Mountain Exposition Award at the 1997 Banff Mountain Book Festival. Craig lives and guides in Colorado.
