About the author (2005)

Gerry Durnell is the managing partner of Automobile Heritage Publishing and Communications, LLC and the editor and publisher of its flagship periodical, Automobile Quarterly. His participation as concours judge and his unfettered enthusiasm have lent much to the continued legacy of the combined worlds of art and the automobile. A self-proclaimed "master tinkerer" and a lifelong worker of words, he has been a disc jockey, photographer, army aviator, state representative, inventor, show promoter, land developer and highly successful publisher in many fields.
