About the author (1987)

YEHOSHUA KENAZ, a prize-winning novelist, a film and theater critic, and a translator from the French, lives in Tel Aviv where he works on the editorial staff of the Hebrew daily Ha'aretz. Only one other of his novels, "After the Holidays," has been published in English. Steerforth Press has also published Kenaz's "Musical Moment," a collection of lyrical tales about coming of age.
