Aleister Crowley - Portrait of an Occultist is a biography of Aleister Crowley (12 October 1875 - 1 December 1947) who was known as a writer, philosopher, poet, mystic and famed British occultist. Notoriously known as "The Wickedest Man in the World," Crowley was a controversial and fascinating figure in the new era of modern day witchcraft. Steeped in the study and practice of science, magic, and sexuality, Crowley was a prolific writer of the occult and is best known for his work The Book of the Law. Aleister Crowley - Portrait of an Occultist is highly recommended for those interested in the history of Aleister Crowley an infamous figure of our time and also for those interested in the mysterious world of the occult.
