Forgetful Alfred wakes up one morning and remembers that it's his birthday. Never a dog to waste time, Alfred gets right to work preparing for his party. He -- with the help of sharp-eyed readers -- finds everything he needs for a great party hidden inside his tumbled collections. But where are Alfred's friends? The partying pooches show up at the last minute, and readers help Alfred locate his birthday presents hidden among the crumpled wrapping paper. A campy romp of a puzzle picture book.
