About the author (2011)

Alice Randt was born and raised in a small town in west central Minnesota. She is the mother of six children, 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and hopes one day to have a dog. For hobbies she has discovered gardening and loves to start her own plants from seeds. She plants her carrots on toilet paper, and may have the only garden in town with toilet paper rows. To date she has written summary's about tours for the catalogs, and a family heritage cookbook.
