About the author (1966)

David T. W. McCord is known as a prolific poet and legendary Harvard alumnus and citizen. Author and editor of over fifty books, he is famous for his children's poetry series. His work has been recognizeed by Harvard with its doctorate of humane letters and by many awards and fellowships, incuding a Guggenheim.
