The wild turkey is a American animal. Theinformative text and good use of watercolors takes us through the turkey's life cycle, habitat, and behavior . I wonder is this the actual turkey we eat? I think this book would be a good read during the Thanksgiving holiday. Read full review

This book tells all about turkeys, from the nesting of females, to hatching of eggs, to poults, to adults. The illustrations are pretty and informative. The writing, although informative, is not the smoothest and was a little choppy to read aloud. Read full review
