Allaire Spectra E-Business Construction Kit

Front Cover
Que, 2000 - Computers - 856 pages
This book will teach Allaire Spectra development from the ground up primarily from the viewpoint of developers and administrators. Spectra development involves a wide range of personnel and talents ranging from system administrators and programmers to graphics designers and copy editors. Each role has a different view into the Spectra world and each thus needs its own set of tutorials and lessons.

The book will be divided into multiple sections, starting with high-level concepts and moving on to planning and building an application. Throughout the book, readers will be presented with not just technical information but also with best practices and business methodologies and how to implement them.

With this book, developers will learn more than feature and language use. They will learn how to use Spectra's power to build real-world secure, scalable, and flexible business Web applications built atop innovative worldclass technologies.
