Amelia's back! This time she's taken her notebook on the road for a summertime family trip to the Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Yosemite National Park, and her old hometown. Cooped up in the car with her obnoxious (and car-sick) sister, Cleo, she has plenty to write about -- from the not-so-mysterious Mysterious Place to old-fashioned gas pumps to meeting a boy named Mako.

It's also Amelia's first visit back to see her old best friend, Nadia, and Amelia's a little nervous. What if Nadia has changed? What if Amelia hasn't? With over a quarter million Amelia books in print, there are a lot of kids out there who want to know.
