Americana: Historical Spotlights in Story and Song
An excellent way to teach the same lesson to students with different levels of English reading skills. The "Americana-Easy Reader" text follows the same stories & uses the same music cassette (optional) as the "Americana" text but is written for low-intermediate to intermediate learners. "Americana" is for intermediate to advanced learners. Both have vocabulary exercises that reinforce reading, conversation, & writing skills. Historical topics range from the American Revolution to ecological preservation. A perfect supplement for your ESL, American History, or Social Studies class!
