The source of our action, the mind, we must come to regarded it as that which distinguishes us as humans. It takes a mind to know one, A practical individual's experience in a bigger than life setting reveals the way the mind works. When put to its intended task, it finally gets us down to the common denominator of the problem. The more our minds connect, the more the connections. At first the message was garbled. Once the author got into the mechanics of it, he kept digging until he got it right. The author's story took shape when it did because it was the right time and place. The world, at a precarious point in its history, the message the author's memoirs brings humanity is after the calamity, hope and renewal.
