About the author (1987)

Ronald P. Cody, Ed.D., coauthor of Applied Statistics and the SAS Programming Language, Fourth Edition, has over 20 years of experience using and teaching the SAS System. A prolific contributor to national, regional, and local users group conferences, Ron is a professor and researcher at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Jeffrey K. Smith is Professor and Associate Dean at the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University; he also serves as Head of the Office of Research and Evaluation at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. His research interests include factors influencing test performance and the psychology of aesthetics. When he has a SAS question, he calls Ron Cody.
