Sullivan is the Director of the Master's Degree Program in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey. She is on leave from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Gail Brenner is an Intensive English Language Program course developer and instructor at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She has worked in the public schools, specialized language programs, private business, and a university-where she now teaches Advanced Grammar, TOEFL Preparation, and Pronunciation. She is the author of Ingles Para Dummies(R).

Zhong received a Master of Arts degree in Sports Psychology from California State University, Sacremento in 1987. In 1994, she co-founded AbleSys Corporation, and became the vice-president of the company.
