I haven't read your book but I do remember hanging @ BC choppers & the bikes runs "I survived Mt. St. Helens" in 1980, I still have the T-shirt, who else has theirs. Bobby V. painted my '75 sportster & my husbands bike was the centerfold in the 1978 issue of Custom Bike. Arlen came up from California with some friends & pictures were taken while we rode around in the limo & we all got to know each other a bit better. People are still amazed @ the style & like I said that in 1978
the custom styles were outrageous, you guys were ahead of yourselves & anybody else who was building @ that time.I remember doing wrinkle paint in fromt the oben, riding our bikes up a ramp into the livingroom in the place we were renting in north Portland That was most definitely a part of my life I'll never forget. Being a female & riding my own Harley was unusual in the late 70's. I have never had so much fun-met so many amazing people that I will never forget & some people that I wish I could forget.I hope you all are doing great. It was an incredible ride......Christine
