If it's true that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, then what better way to entice the typical American male than with apple pie? Talia believes An Apple a Day and a few herbs are the key to healthy living, but Dr. Coridan scoffs at the natural products she sells in her store. Can a slice of warm pie neutralize the friction between them? Kayli wants to prove herself as a French pastry chef, but Adam prefers simple cooking, believing there's nothing as Sweet as Apple Pie. Can their plain and fancy lifestyles mesh? Apple Annie loves running her father's restaurant, and she is fast falling in love with the handsome man who always orders her apple pie. But when she is about to lose everything, can Brad help her? Lynette is a hard worker at church and not at all interested in a church romance. When she is paired with Rick on a fund-raiser, will a little Apple Pie in His Eye help Rick break down the walls around Lynette's heart? As friendship is allowed to ripen and blended with love and grace, a recipe for a wonderful, lasting relationship is formed. When it comes to romance, the sweetest desserts are no match for God's timing.

About the author (2002)

Kristin Billerbeck is the author of numerous Christian novels, hitting the CBA bestseller list and winning the coveted ACFW Book of the Year in 2004 for What a Girl Wants and again in 2006 for With this Ring, I m Confused. She has been featured in the New York Times, USA Today, World Magazine, the Atlanta Journal Constitition and been seen on the "Today Show" for her pioneering role in Christian Chick Lit. She has a bachelor s degree in advertising from San Jose State University.

ANDREA BOESHAAR was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Married for twenty-five years, she and her husband Daniel have three sons, two of whom are adults. She's active in her church and enjoys writing books that combine romance with reality and heartbreak with hope. Andrea has been writing for over thirteen years but writing exclusively for the Christian market for six.

Joyce Livingston has done many things in her life (in addition to being a wife, mother of six, and grandmother to oodles of grandkids, all of whom I love dearly). From being a television broadcaster for eighteen years, to lecturing and teaching on quilting and sewing, to writing magazine articles on a variety of subjects. She's danced with Lawrence Welk, ice-skated with a Chimpanzee, had bottles broken over her head by stuntmen, interviewed hundreds of celebrities and controversial figures, and many other interesting and unusual things. But now, when she isn't off traveling to wonderful and exotic places as a part-time tour escort, her days are spent sitting in front of her computer, creating stories. Joyce became a widow in 2004. In 2008, she married her Sunday school teacher, Pastor Dale Lewis (who had also lost his spouse), and became a pastor's wife, serving daily with him in his ministry. Four of her books have been named Contemporary Book of the Year in the Heartsong Readers Poll, and she was voted Favorite Author of the Year 3 times. In addition, her Heartsong book, One Last Christmas, won the coveted Contemporary Book of the Year award given by The American Christian Fiction Writers organization. In addition to writing for Barbour, Joyce also writes for Love Inspired. Her first venture into a larger women's fiction book is THE WIDOWS' CLUB, also published by Barbour Publishing, soon to be followed up with a second book, INVASION OF THE WIDOWS' CLUB. Joyce feels her writing is a ministry and a calling from God, and hopes readers will be touched and uplifted by what she writes. What's on the horizon for Joyce? More and better books that she hopes will please her readers!
