About the author (1989)

 • Georg Erdmann, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Center for Economic Research at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. Trained in Mathematics, Physics and Economics, his major fields are evolutionary economics, energy economics, regional economics and cost-benefit analysis, about which he has written a number of publications

• Bruno Fritsch, Ph.D., is Full Professor of Economics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and Co-director of the Center for Economic Research. He has written books and articles dealing with problems for international economics including developing countries, energy economics, and environmental policies. He also has broad experience in national and international consulting in these fields.
