This is likely the best book on ash glazes. There is extensive technical information specially in ash composition. The subject is fully covered in all its aspects. Like all Tichane's books, all worth having, at the end one has a solid foundation of understanding. This one and the Montmollin on ash glazes belong in your library if you are interested in these glazes.
