About the author (2000)

Geoff Hiscock is International Business Editor of Australia's leading daily newspaper, The Australian, headquartered in Sydney. Extensive Asian experience, including long-term assignments in Tokyo, Bangkok and Hong Kong, is the essence of Geoff Hiscock's thirty year media career. A fluent Japanese speaker, he spent 7 years in Japan as public affairs officer for the Australian Government, and is the author of two specialist publications, Packaged for Japan and A Business Guide to Japan.
