About the author (2009)

Shubert Spero served for more than thirty years as rabbi of the Young Israel of Cleveland, and is now the Irving Stone Professor of Basic Jewish Thought at Bar Ilan University. He is the author of many books, including Morality, Halakha and the Jewish Tradition and God in All Seasons.
