This useful resource addresses both the spiritual and practical aspects of communion for Disciples and other denominations in the free church tradition. In it, congregations will find materials from a wide spectrum of Disciples contributors: New prayers and meditations for Sundays throughout the church year; and resources for Disciples-specific occasions such as Week of Compassion and Reconciliation Sunday. In an informative introductory section, France offers simple, easy-to-follow instructions on how to set up and conduct a communion service, and guidelines for those who take communion to homes, hospitals, and nursing homes.
