About the author (2003)

An award-winning author and national speaker, Jeanne Gowen Dennis partners with Christian families to equip the next generation to hold fast to faith. She has published many books, articles, stories, illustrations, and greeting cards, and has been interviewed on national television and radio stations throughout the country. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, and veteran homeschooler.

Sheila Seifert has more than one thousand freelance sales (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and scripts) and teaches creative writing, composition, and literature classes at local colleges and universities. She has authored/coauthored fifteen books (seven fiction, six nonfiction, two books of skits) and two e-books. Her first script for an animated TV show will air on PBS in 2006. Sheila currently resides in Colorado with her husband and three children.

Dandi Daley Mackall has published nearly 400 books for children and adults, with more than 3 million copies sold. A frequent guest on radio talk shows, Mackall has hosted more than 200 radio phone-in programs and made dozens of appearances on network television. A popular keynote speaker at conferences and Young Author events, Mackall lives in rural Ohio with her husband, three children, and a menagerie of animals.
Illustrator bio:
David Hohn is an award-winning illustrator who graduated with honors from the Maryland Institute College of Art. He has worked as both a staff artist and an art director for a children's software company in Portland, Oregon, a position which culminated in his art direction of an award-winning project for Fisher-Price. Gary D. Long is the Faculty President of Providence Theological Seminary in Colorado Springs, CO. He holds degrees from the University of Missouri (B.S. in Agriculture, 1959) and from Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M. in Systematic Theology, 1969, Th.D. in Historical Theology, 1972). He also assisted as a church planter while serving in the U. S. Army and retired as a Field Artillery Colonel in 1989. His published writings include Definite Atonement, Biblical Law and Ethics, Context! Evangelical Views on the Millennium Examined, and New Covenant Theology: Time for a More Accurate Way.
