Auriculotherapy Manual: Chinese and Western Systems of Ear Acupuncture
Health professionals from a wide range of backgrounds apply auriculotherapy to successfully relieve chronic pain and treat addictions. The most popular book on the subject, this practical handbook combines information on Chinese and French systems of ear acupuncture to offer treatment plans for over 250 medical conditions. Presenting the ear reflex points based on extensive research conducted at the UCLA Pain Management Center, it provides a standardized auricular nomenclature system for designating different anatomical zones of the ear, and it represents each ear reflex point with both a number and an auricular zone location.

This is an outstanding manual for those who wish to solely use or add as an addition to their treatment, using TCM. I have worn the pages out on this book, and have loaned it to many of my students, since our acupuncture academic institutions do not spend enough time teaching this incredible modality of Acupuncture.
Dr Oleson's illustrations are well done, as is the explanation of each point, its function, location and uses. I highly recommend this book for anyone who teaches this in any complimentary medicine graduate program. It should become the standard textbook used. I definitely recommend it to anyone, student or practitioner, to have it included in their library as reference to the use of auriculotherapy. This manual has made a positive difference in my private practice, and I solely use auriculotherapy as my modality of treatment for every patient I see. The results appear to be quicker, and longer lasting than what I experienced when using TCM points.
A great manual, and Dr Oleson should be applauded for an outstanding piece of work. Thank you, Dr Oleson, for your dedicated research in this area and giving us a manual that can only add to our knowledge.
