This book integrates the ancient healing science of Ayurveda with the modern development of Aromatherapy. The authors have long term experience in clinical practice and have created a phenomenal resource for anyone who wants to use Ayurveda or Aromatherapy for self-health or as a practitioner. The body-type paradigm of Ayurveda is interwoven nicely with the aromatherapeutic actions of essential oils.

There is a major really big misquotation in the book that makes me worry about how poorly researched it might have been altogether. On page 112, the authors write that "an Italian researcher named Paresse arranged essential oils on a musical scale
'...IT WAS FRENCHMAN PIESSE THAT DID THIS IN THE 19TH CENTURY. this is not just a misspelling but a great misrepresentation somebody should have caught before the book went to press....
