About the author (2003)

David Turnley is a Pulitzer Prizewinning photographer and filmmaker. He has covered many of the major news stories of the past thirty years, producing several books out of these experiences. His firs film, "The Dalai Lama: At Home in Exile", produced for CNN, was awarded the 2001 Cine Golden Eagle and nominated for an Emmy. He lives in New York City.
