Another charming box that makes sewing SEW EASY for the beginner! This third entry in the ingenious series, created by TV personality Linda Lee, contains everything needed to create cool, stylish handbags for all seasons. As always, an adorable self-sealing magnetic box holds a 48-page primer on basic techniques plus a set of 12 project cards complete with instructions, photos, and illustrations. There’s background on cutting, measuring, and marking; advice on handy gadgets; a list of useful terminology; guidance on making a pattern, laying out the fabric, constructing a seam, working with machines; trimming; and much more. And the bags are just fabulous, ranging from a backpack to a mini tote, from a rosette wrist bag to a drawstring pouch.
