About the author (2010)

Katherine Patton graduated from George Washington University (1992) with a degree in psychology. While pursuing masters' degrees in both education and community counseling, she worked extensively with children. She has long been fascinated by the beneficial effects of simple stories and characters, in either educational or therapeutic settings, when they are experienced through the magical mind's eye and imagination of a child. She currently lives in Santa Fe where she is a family counselor.
