This is one of my favorite Sabatini novels. How can you go wrong with a story about a wager to win the heart of a fair young maiden within three months? Add in some treachery, rebellion, swordfighting, jealousy, and deceit, and you have all the makings of a fun and fast-moving book. Read full review
