About the author (1991)

Paul Zbar, Gordon Rockmaker, and David Bates are electricians qualified by the Consumer Electronics Manufacturers Association and the Electronic Industries Alliance.

Gordon Rockmaker is an engineering editor, and in this capacity has helped launch numerous college textbooks in engineering, science and mathematics. A former practicing electrical engineer, Mr. Rockmaker has long been associated with the home-study field; his active interest in "self-study" methods led him to writing this book.
