My Grandpop would tell me how he was involved with Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream but it wasn't until i read this that i understood the significant impact he had with distributing this lovely product through New York City. I'm proud of you Grandpop Joel!

Fred "Chico" Lager joined Ben & Jerry's in 1982 as general manager and became president and CEO. He resigned in 1991 but continued to serve on Ben & Jerry's board of directors. He lives in Williston, Vermont.
