About the author (2005)

Barbara Barthelmes (*1957) has been very active in the field of New Music, Sound Art. She was co-editor of the magazine "Musica", has received grants from DAAD and the Maison des Sciences de l´Homme in Paris for her research works in the field of music. Numerous lectures on the topic.
