Beyond Heaven is a story of faith, courage and sacred promises. Although set in the 21st century, its birth stems from an ancient past. Summer, a young black woman, learns the first secret of her ancestral spiritual responsibility when she is six. Mel, Summer's sister, is attracted to and is self-taught in the supernatural. Camote, is a shaman from Brazil. An old priest, sent by the Vatican, teaches him the secrets of his birth. Summer meets Falcon and Rita, but Rita also holds a secret. She is a Santera. Through an ancient ceremony performed by the concealed brotherhood of the church, an adversary is resurrected.
