Hoban uses no words and only to beautifully help in the process of word learning in small children. This book is a wonderful tool to help give little ones a head start in word development and the high contrast in the colors will help stimulate their mind. Read full review

About the author (1993)

Tana Hoban's photographs have been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and in galleries around the world. She has won many gold medals and prizes for her work as a photographer and filmmaker. Her books for children are known and loved throughout the world.
