About the author (2000)

Born in Northern Ireland but moved to Manchester to train as a youth worker, having been turned down for a job in Mecca Leisure for being overqualified . Studied law by distance learning, in Nottingham and graduated in 1999. More study and an MA in Law Medicine and Ethics in 2005. Have worked in and around Manchester raising twins and working mainly in local government for half a lifetime and have only been to Old Trafford once.

Williams' advertising and editorial clients include such major corporations as Ralph Lauren and Credit Lyonnais. His award-winning photography has been featured in major cookbooks and flower arranging books.
