Borderland beginnings: a Christian allegory
Look around. You will see Borderland on every side. Centuries ago, Satan, the prince of this world, reached out to destroy a small country called Gyr Dan Felde. Gry Dan Felde was so lovely that its name meant "Heaven On Earth". When Satan struck Gyr Dan Felde, he was opposed by the prayers of two faithful warriors. Gry Dan Flede miraculously slipped form Satan's grasp, but it also disappeared from the sight of the outside world to become Borderland. Seven hundred years after its mysterious disappearance, Borderland was almost forgotten. Then God stretched out His hand to take it back.
