About the author (1995)

Dashefsky is an adjunct professor of environmental science at Marymount College in Tarrytown, New York, and a former employee of the Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C. He is the founder of the Center for Environmental Literacy, which was created to inform and educate the general public and business community about today's complex environmental issues. He holds degrees in biology and entomology.
