About the author (2011)

Fergus Lowe is the former head of psychology at the University of Wales, Bangor. His research interests include children’s learning/language development and his work in this domain has been published extensively.

Dr. Brigid Lowe is a research fellow at the department of English at Cambridge University and a mother of two.
