About the author (2010)

Born in Florida, Mary Henderson moved with her parents and sister to Colorado, North Dakota, Wyoming, and Louisiana. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas in Austin, and her master’s degree at Hope International University in Fullerton, California. In a career that has spanned more than thirty years in Christian ministry, Mary and her husband John have lived and worked throughout New Zealand, Eastern Europe, Russia, and the United States. Mary currently divides her time between counseling, writing, and speaking, and she is passionate about helping people overcome the barriers keeping them from becoming all God created them to be.
