About the author (2010)

David Pullen was brought up on a large mixed farm in East Anglia where he spent every opportunity working. On leaving school he went on to study agricultural engineering before embarking on a career that has seen him undertake teaching and research posts in the UK and overseas. Collecting farm models, particularly those produced by Britain, has been a lifelong passion. David has written many articles about farm model collecting for some of the leading model and agricultural magazines. He also wrote A pocket guide to Britain model tractors 1948–1998David Pullen was brought up on a large mixed farm in East Anglia where he spent every opportunity working.
