My friend loaned me this book before I got married and I never did use it. I liked that it did not require going to a gym, and I already had most of the equipment at home, I was just too lazy. My new year's resolution was to become more active, so I joined a gym but realized I needed to follow a workout plan and did not want to pay the crazy trainers' fees! I remembered I still had the book, so I've been following the 24-week plan with some great results so far! I love how it lays out exactly which exercises to do which days, with what weights, and how many reps/sets. Very idiot-proof, which I need. Simple, straightforward, and effective. I'm in week three and I already feel a lot better - sleeping more soundly, more energy in the mornings. Get this book, even if you're not a bride-to-be!
