So I must say that I'm writing this review NOT actually having read it, but I've read a number of the pages in the "Sample" available so I ordered it pronto. The professional reviewers give it high marks and I'm looking forward to its delivery. Not only does it seem as if it will be chock full of information a neophyte in book collection will need (I was furioiusly taking notes as I was reading), I'm also appreciative of his writing and formatting style. Noone wants to dig through a reference book with page after page of dense text. Windwalker's (even his name intrigues me) writing style is straightforward and casual and the pages I perused were marked by highlights and bullet points. Being a professional writer myself (technical writer in the medical field), I understand full well how much effort goes into a thoughtful format. Being a self-appointed professional reader, I appreciate that he expended that effort. So...again...looking forward to getting the tome in the post.
