About the author (1993)

Jerry Bobrow, Ph.D. is a national authority in the field of test preparation and has been administering the test preparation programs for most California state universities for the past 29 years. Each year he runs more than 500 programs, assisting over 17,000 students in preparing for standardized tests. Dr. Bobrow has authored over 30 national best-selling test preparation books, including CliffsTestPrep(R) guides for the CSET, MSAT, GRE, GMAT, SAT I/PSAT, CBEST, NTE, PPST, ELM, GED, and ACT.

William A. Covino, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of English at San Diego State University. Peter Z. Orton (B.A., Harvard; M. Ed., Princeton) is a test preparation lecturer and instructor for many California State Universities. Both authors have researched and developed test preparation programs for many universities, colleges, and law schools since 1979 and have authored numerous test preparation books used throughout the nation.

Covino is an Associate Professor of English at San Diego State University.
