Cache Canon lies well outside Rok City in the Colorado high country. It was named for a legendary cache of gold hidden, and now it's reputed to harber a band of hold-out indians. Although no one in Rock City has ever seen the band, the Terwilliger brothers, who regard the canon as part of their range lands, are convinced the hold-outs are stealing livestock from them. but even the Terwillgers have something else to worry about when three strangers are seen in the canon with surveying equipment.
