Mommy is often disappointed by the mail she receives but Caillou decides to surprise her and with Daddy's help he puts his best drawing in an envelope and addresses it to Mommy. The next day Mommy gets the nicest mail she has ever received and Caillou discovers the satisfaction that comes from doing something kind for someone else.

Delightful story providing information on letters and how they get from here to there. Children love receiving mail and this book provides good talking points about letters. Thoroughly enjoyed. Read full review

About the author (2008)

Joceline Sanschagrin is the author of Caillou and Gilbert, Caillou Helps Mommy, Caillou: Baby Sister, and Caillou: Potty Time. Claude Lapierre is an illustrator who with his graphic arts company, La Souris Mécanique, adapted scenes from the Caillou television series. They both live in Montreal, Quebec.
