Campy Fantasy which is VERY funny, has romance (but also a witch with LOTS of talking cats.) Each book is a different perspective. Everyone is awesome. I read the whole series at least 3 or 4 times. All in one sitting, basically. Really good, but not very dark. Haha. Read full review

About the author (1993)

PATRICIA C. WREDE has written many novels, including the four books in the Enchanted Forest Chronicles and the middle grade novelizations of the blockbuster films Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Ms. Wrede lives near Minneapolis, Minnesota.
